Leading the paid proposition at Social Chain - a global social media marketing agency - Roxanne delivers paid social strategies for clients across Retail, Sports and Entertainment, keeping brands at the forefront of opportunities in this medium. 

She's worked both client side and agency side with some of the world's largest agency groups (MediaCom, IPG Mediabrands). Initially starting out in Social Content, she saw a huge opportunity in the growth of Paid Social and has become particularly passionate in how content and data can work together in a cohesive strategy to deliver real business results.

But social advertising is becoming increasingly difficult for marketers. The feed is becoming saturated, delivery costs are scaling and user trust in brands is decreasing.

This just means marketers have to work harder, think beyond the boosted post and get clever with content that connects with the right audience. Content not only has to cut through in the feed, but it has to capture users in the span of milliseconds (we're living in the era where our social attention span is less than that of a goldfish!)
